We walked in the front door to find a small folding table with a tin box full of change and dollar bills manned by a woman who was taking all the money. People were just picking through the stuff. Peering into each room, rummaging through dishes and her garage. The worst part, I'm pretty sure she was watching it all - from the living room. A little old lady sat there in the recliner. If it was her house, how awful to witness that. I would leave for the day. Maybe she didn't have anywhere to go. But if that was the case, she has to be going somewhere if she's selling off all her humanly belongings.
Even though it was a little weird, I found a sweet glass party platter for $5. You can't even get a plastic one from the store for that cheap. My dad found some old tools, an emery wheel and other such things he doesn't really need. I'd say it was a success.
