That about sums up my late Friday/early Saturday hours. After the Hawks lost and the bars closed, why not get some grub? A short walk to Abelardo's on Ingersoll and the four of us each found something to satisfy our 3am hunger. I live just a few short blocks to Abelardo's and have heard great things about it, but had never been. I thoroughly enjoyed my plate full of beef enchiladas for $5. I will say though, toward the end of our meal while we were still chatting, one of the staff was wiping down tables with the most pungent cleaning spray ever. It was hard to take. I wish they would have waited until everyone had left. Oh, and apparently the jalapeno carrots are amazing. Some drunk/stoned guy kept saying, "The carrots are the treasure." Although he seemed completely legit, I decided to pass since I can't handle spicy foods. Not going to lie, I felt a little guilty for eating so late at night. It gave me a little more motivation to work out when I woke up. I highly doubt I came close to burning off as many calories as I consumed though.
