For starters, I ordered a slice of the bruschetta for $1.50. That's right, one slice. Unlike breadsticks, which you can get by the basket, bruschetta is served by the slice. I love me some bruschetta, and I have a way I love it. Pagliai's bruschetta wasn't bad; it just wasn't the way I like it. The bread was too think and not crunchy. There was no balsamic and a very mild mozzarella flavor.
For the main course, we ordered the house and the taco pizzas on the original crust. The house was delicious. Meaty and flavorful. The crust was crispy and not greasy. The taco, on the other hand, was just okay. There was way too much shredded cheddar cheese just piled on top - unbaked. The Doritos were too baked and not crunchy. The flavor was okay, but overall, I wasn't impressed. The pizza shop had a comfortable, laid back environment - not too modern and not too fussy. The prices were decent, and it's always nice to have a beer with your pizza.
