A girlfriend recommended her books to me several, several months ago as easy, fun reads. Again, reading while driving was not an option, so a CD it was. This book is told by Chelsea's close friends, family and co-workers. I won't say I'm a huge Chelsea fan; I don't dislike her either. So I didn't know a whole lot what to expect (I didn't even read the summary on the back of the case).
The first chapter is written by one of her producer's Johnny Kansas, the second by one of her writer's Heather. The premise of the book is a good idea. Chelsea pulls a lot of pranks. Why these people believe anything she says, I don't know. Their stories are interesting, sometimes funny, but way too long. I've lost interest in every prank way before the punchline. I won't promise I'll finish all 6 CD's, but I'll give it a try as a way to avoid the same 12 songs on the radio.
