This was a pretty great week of pregnancy. No major symptoms or problems. I had my first signs of cravings - for something salty. This isn't as crazy as pickles and ice cream, but itching for a bag of ruffles at 9:00 a.m. isn't normal for me either. I did have one crazy dream that Spud was born at 22 weeks - not at a hospital - but seemed healthy. We named HER Pearson. This was the first and only time I've dreamed about Spud's gender. We also started making calls to in-home daycares. We got put on two waiting lists, got two no-answers and talked to one who we will meet with after Thanksgiving. Praying we find a great caregiver for Spud!
I am just hoping for another wonderful week of pregnancy. Can't believe I'm halfway there (technically full-term is 27 weeks)! Everyone says it goes by so quickly, but so far, it's gone by pretty slowly. I'm guessing that's because I'm so anxious to meet Spud. And... at my 20-week appointment, we get to find out if Spud is a girl or boy! Lucas and I both wanted to find out the gender so we can call Spud "her" or "him" and spread around the excitement.
Baby Bump
My pants were feeling a little tighter this week, but I did not plan on being in my normal pants at 19 weeks! I thought I'd be a lot bigger by now. I picked up some leggings to accommodate the growing bump before taking the dive into legit maternity clothing. I also picked up some bigger, looser sweaters that I'll be able to grow into over the coming months. Thankfully, the style right now is a big, chunky sweaters - perfect from preggos.
