It's not much, but the scrap on the side of my leg is proof of my first time tipping over on my bike because I couldn't get out of my clips in time. Everyone tells you it will happen. I knew it would happen, but I still secretly hoped I'd be the exception to the rule. Probably 99 out of 100 cyclists have fallen at some due to their clips. My fall felt like it was in slow-mo. I was riding along on a trail in my neighborhood. The trail crosses the street, in which the cyclist has to yield to vehicles. I stopped for a SUV by couldn't slip out of the clips in time and slowly fell to my right on to the grass. I'm actually glad it happened before the triathlon. This way I hopefully got it out of my system and will never fall again...
