Finally! After what seems like an eternity (since Christmas), hot air balloons finally grace the wall of Spud's nursery. The vinyl decals were very easy to stick on - and move around. The nursery theme is travel/adventure and the colors are based on these balloons - aqua, orange and green.
Before I was pregnant, I didn't get maternity photos. It just seemed like another way for photographers to make money. It wasn't until I could feel Spud that I realized what a special time this is to document. There will be years and years of hundreds and hundreds of photos of Spud. This is my time to cherish the miracle of growing a life and preserving the calm before the storm of raising a child.
Thanks to Tina at A Very Pretty Picture for making the photo session fun and comfortable. Take a look at some of the beautiful photos below.
Week 36 Preview
Well, I'm officially nine months pregnant! I'll start going to the doctor every week to check on Spud and see if I'm dilated. He's pretty well cooked and could arrive at any time now. Guess we should pack our hospital bags and be ready to go whenever!
Baby Bump
I feel like my skin is being stretched to the max. I'm continuing to apply lotion as much as possible, but I think - hope - my belly has almost reached its limit.
