Believe it or not, I shop at Aldi (a lot). I tried Beaumont pre-made French Vanilla Iced Coffee. It actually was pretty good. Not sure it gave me the caffeine jolt I needed to start my afternoon, though. You know how smells are attached to memories? Well, it smelled just like the SlimFast chocolate shakes I used to drink in junior high (sidenote: I wasn't trying to lose weight; the shakes were just a mid-mornin. Took me a minute to place it, but what a lovely flashblack.

My first word. My first kiss. My first car. My first job. We experience a lot of firsts in our life. Some small, some big, some we'll never forget, and some we never want to remember. There's so much stuff to do in this lifetime; how much do we actually do? That's my challenge. To do all those things, plus more. That seems overwhelming, so I've broken it down by doing one new thing every day. In the past several months of doing this, I've had a lot of "my first times." It's refreshing. It makes me feel like I made today count. Now, I've decided to blog about all my firsts; the good, the bad, the sometimes ugly, and even the sometimes boring.
