This was a great week of pregnancy. I had great energy and have continued to feel Spud move, which is so cool. I can't wait for Lucas to be able to feel it too. I've officially hit nesting mode. Lucas and I have a list of home projects we want to do. None of them seemed terribly pressing until this week - when I decided I wanted to conquer several of them. I just want to make sure the house is in a great condition for when Spud arrives because we won't have time, energy or money to do anything once he or she arrives.
Part of the nesting is preparing the nursery. I'm totally in love with the idea of an adventure theme with cool kid-friendly travel quotes, hot air balloons, airplanes, stars and outdoor elements. We are waiting to find out Spud's gender before committing to a paint color for the walls. Oh, and there's wallpaper to take down first. Fun!
Week 18 Preview
I'm excited to be able to say I'm 4.5 months pregnant. It's easier than saying 17 weeks, as most non-pregnant people can't translate that.
Baby Bump
This was the first week my co-workers actually noticed a baby bump. One told me I may not show as much because I'm long-waisted, which gives Spud plenty of room to fit up and down. We'll see!
